both of them being pilloks today :o

they havent had their rugs on for just over a week so now they are terifying

neither would let me get near them to put head collars on and both were trotting around tails high snorting loudly at me then doing a high tailed canter and kick out as the past me

why do i own 2 knoberish horses? i can understand missy as she is 2... but taz really? haha oh well will just have to live with out rugs this evening :o

Always. I get worried when he's not.

Today's tricks mainly consisted of managing to destroy everything within a 100 metre radius of him, and teaching the yearling that lives with him more bad behaviour.

It's very funny to watch the two of them, she mimmicks him exactly... unfortunately for her owner ;)

Yes but he has been in for 48 hours so I was blaming that but if all yours are doing it that would explain the extra knobberishness that I had both times he was ridden today

Had a really crap day with the horses today, was not impressed. Im thinking its the change in weather, its been so hot, and now cold and windy and of course theyre all going to die and pansy about!!!!

Horse rode like pants, one tried to double barrel me in the field trying to catch it and one threatened me with its back side, of which it has never ever done before.
Tractors and buckets are also terrifying today as well of course.

PANTS DAY!!!

No, mine are being pretty damn well behaved to be honest, but can I just say I just pressed the imaginary 'like' button for your title :D:D

TOMORROW :D:D:D:D:D:D:D incase you hadnt guessed I'm rather relieved :D Has been a complete knobber since we arrived, my lovely pony who has always been good to tie up any where started to throw his weight round and mini rear this morning whilst I mucked out  not the best of impressions on the new neighbours. Apart from that its ok but still miss his old home.

also was going to fb you they do have gaiters to match your boots

Does that mean he is feeling better than Trish?

Seems so! :)

He was a little better yesterday but still not quite himself and, very unusually was very backwards thinking when we were hacking in company... normally he wants to be at the front and strides out etc, yesterday he was seriously hard work and tried a turn/nap thing several times. Then got to the beach and all he wanted to do was bomb around the place like a lunatic and splash (see sig and thread in pic gallery :D). Pranced back home in beautiful self-carriage, then stole his feedbucket out of my hand and threw it all over the yard. So properly better then.

Weird stomach noises stopped as well with addition of cider vinegar to his feed, so that was good (think I forgot to mention them in the other thread). :)

Jenz - sorry you had a pants day, hope tomorrow's better :)

Oo. Exciting. Gaiters not yellow pony obviously. Bad beast! Still, being locked up when the sun is shining is enough to make anyone cross. I know how he feels. I keep looking out of the window at work and wishing I could go outside!

Markie is currently Cobnobasaurus and is 19 going on 5! Luckily, he's fine under saddle.
Today, when I turned him out, he headed, flat out, for the flock of farm geese, rounded them up, herded them about, then dived into the middle of them followed by a bucking fit! Wish I'd had my camera.
One of his field mates was brought in for a lungeing session this evening (getting a bit dark to ride after work now) and spent the whole time doing airs above the ground! She's usually an angel to lunge.
We've just had a huge grass growth spurt, I'm blaming that!

Yep!

My 4yr old TB is always on the verge of an "explosion" but had always held it together up until today. Must have been the sudden chill because I found myself (several times may I add) repeating "woaaaahhh, gooooood laaaaaad" as the thing p****d off with me around the school for no aparent reason....

ehh....putting off clipping him now if he feels the cold that much

Ha glad it's not just me then...I had loutish behaviour from the young man today...more than usual I mean...generally bargey strong neck-y fidgety painsome pratting about, completely distractable, self-lunging whilst supposed to be standing for groundwork...was quite glad to see the back of him when I turned him out after. Turfed him out, more like.
Also put it down to windy/post-heatwave/didn't do much work last week due to heat and my rubbish virus/field mate gone out/farmer putting hay out for cows/any auld excuse really...

Oh yes. Moderately well behaved in the school then went for a wander through the fields to cool off and the pony eating leaves/birds/puddles/miscellaneous seemingly inoffensive items were out to get us....
