Just wondering really, i have my 2 boys, the older lad who was only clipped once in October, still has his clip line, but you can definately see his summer coat coming through, however, my other lad who i clipped in October and then again in December, still looks clipped  he is loosing his winter coat on his saddle patch & legs.

Do some horses just take longer to get their summer coats, everyone elses at the yard seems to have lost most of their winter fluff now

Neither of mine have. The mare is losing her winter coat in clouds now so it wont be long, my old boy hasnt even started to lose his though. He always holds onto his coat for as long as possible :D

Rossi has just gotten hairier! He was clipped in Feb, because we were in a much hotter part of the country, but now he's moved back home to chilly old MA he's regrown a winter coat (in like, a week!).
I don't want to clip him out again and wreck his coat, but I might have to if he doesn't start to shed in the next few days, as it is ruining our training sessions when he gets sweaty and in true Rossi style very grumpy

What an exquisite horse you have. He's beautiful.

OP, two of mine have shed theirs but the TB X is still a fluff ball.

Mine had a blanket clip in January and although he's losing it in handfuls when he doesn't have a rug on, he still has clip lines. He just has a little bit less hair than he did have! When we had the mini heatwave last week he lost loads but now it's cooled back down, he is hanging on to it for dear life again..

My two were clipped at the beginning of November, and Saffy was clipped again in January. They are moulting but the clip line is still very obvious. Was thinking of doing a full clip on them both in January next year!

Lady's losing it, but slowly. She's losing it more in some places than others, so has funny little patches of summer coat :p I've bought a Furminator last night to help with the De-hairing :)

I have two unclipped and one clipped in November. Clip is still very visible

two unclipped horses are at that scruffy inbetween stage.

Not long though I hope and will have three shinny horse

! Give us a chance, it is 1C this morning, buds have only JUST started to come out, the grass has finally woken up, and yesterday I saw the first bloodroot flowers - always the first out.

My lot still look like yaks, very wise of them, they are shedding like mad but summer coats are not near yet.

Zeus never grows a thick coat despite being out and unrugged, but even he is hanging on to most of it, especially his ear warmers!
