Hi all, i have been posting her for months worrying about my horse ebig lame, finally got a 2nd opinion from a different vet and they did x ray's again and it showed up that her pedal bone has demineralised ie there is a big chunk missing that has disolved over the past years!!! The farrier said it has probably been happening since before i got her and it is very rare, he thinks that maybe she will be fit enough to be hacked out eventually but that is all. Anyone heard of this happening before? Just my luck!!
