Anyone ever own a horse called Popeye?

brought over from Ireland possibly between 1999 and early 2001. Probably shipped directly to Aberdeen - first owner I know of is a miss L Graham, who sold him when she moved down to England with her parents - she would be about 22-24 now I think.

15.3h Dark Bay cob Gelding. born in 1996. Large white blaze.

Gosh that is freaky!!!!
I was just talking to my OH tonight about a pony I had about 8 years ago called Popeye and probably hadn't talked about him for years!!. I don't think he was the same as the one you describe obviously mine was a gelding, plus he was bright bay New Forest type about 13.2 and had a wall eye. A woman did ring me up a couple of years ago who had bought him and found my number on his vacination certificate - if this rings a bell with anyone else reading this please ring again, I would love to know how he is getting on - smashing pony

The Scottish and Northern Equestrian Mag's website have a "Looking For..." section- you could try asking on there- they have a large readership in Aberdeenshire.

He was 15.3 bright bay
