Anyone ever used....

the Shires Jelly Pad (saddle pad). Was recommended a prolite one on here but I just can't afford it at the mo and my other half would go mental ! (no cheap ones on ebay either). Anyway, found this one which looks like it would do the job but would like to know if anyone has used one before and what they thought.

I don't know about that particular one but years ago we were recommended to use a similar one when the saddle fitter said 'Don't tell any-one I've fitted that saddle!' for a particularly round cob. It worked a treat. I've got a prolite pad atm and I don't think it's any better really (although on a different horse).
