anyone fallen off when pregnant?

this is a follow up to my last post when I asked if I can still ride when pregnant.I received lots of positive replies but someone asked has anyone fallen off while pregnant?This is a good question and would like to hear from anyone who has or knows somebody who has.What were the consequences?
 
i know of someone who fell of when pregnant she badly broke her leg but baby was fine, she was only about 8 weeks at the time
 
babies are very protected from front but a lot less from the back.just be extra careful and any doubts stop its not worth it.imo you could get hurt just as badly on the ground simply by being knocked over
 
i gave up straight away when I found out I was pregnant. What is the point in carrying on when you think of the risks. Also would you ever forgive yourself if anything went wrong.

As much as i love my horses and riding. Riding just isnt worth it when your pregnant. I didnt ride at all during my pregnancy. I still lunged my horses and my sister helped me keeping them fit. Tbh i think the break did my people good!!!

It really isnt worth the risk of loosing or damaging your baby.
 
I rode up until I was 8 month pregnant and thankfully didn't fall off - but I only did this when my trainer was with me and because my horse (IMHO) sensed that I was pregnant and looked after me - she transformed during my pregnancy into a lovely kind natured mare - it was very strange!

i never fell off when i was preg and didnt really fear falling off because my boy was very good with me and very gentle, he loves the baby and has thrown me off once and that was coz he wanted to be with the baby not working. he is very strange like that for a stallion, but i think its great
