Anyone feed Brewers Yeast and/or Seaweed?

No help but bored. I fed seaweed many years ago. The tub had a scoop but i cannot remember how much i fed. I did say it was no help. I also fed yea sac at the same time, then a feed came out containing both and i stopped and bought the feed instead. The feed is no longer made which is a shame.

We used to feed brewers grains and used it in place of bran - when we used to control the feed in diets, it went off quite quickly especially during the summer , but was good in putting condition on.

Yes, I feed my 2 old T/B's and my sisters IDx, they get 30ml scoop of BY and a 50ml scoop of seaweed each at t-time, seems to be doing the trick:)

Oldies are, dare I say it barefoot, and the IDx is shod in front currently, it is part of the barefoot mix (with other stuff) and has made a huge difference to the health of their feet and overall.

I've become a supplement nerd recently and have a spreadsheet to work it all out. From Charnwood, BY works out at around 4p per day, seaweed 2p per day. From Natural Horse Supplies, BY around 9p per day, seaweed around 5p per day. I don't feed seaweed anymore because I had a forage test done and have high iron and iodine already.

Edit: just realised you didn't mean cost! Both up to 100g/day, but dependent on minerals from other sources.

Hehe, being near the West coast of Ireland I can get 25Kgs seaweed for 30 euro! Brewers yeast is another matter and linseed whole or micronized *rolls eyes* I'm trying to persuade a shop to get it for me! You can only get oil round here.
