Hi,

I am looking at starting to feed my horse collagen for tendon/ligament repair...does anyone feed the Holland and Barrett Hydrolysed Collagen rather than the equine stuff (such as proto-col)?

Proto-col seems very expensive in comparison and will not last half as long.

I understand the dosages will the different but is the human kind ok to feed?

Thanks

I feed the Healthspan collagen II supplement, but have found someone on ebay doing 500x 600mg tabs for £39.50 which is really cheap. Haven't ordered that yet so can't comment on quality! Healthspan/H&B stuff is fine, although I feed for general joint health in my arthritic old lads rather than for a specific injury
