Ok so rather then sell up I have decided maybe it will a good idea to have somone share her and compete her until i get my nerve back!

Hi

Sorry to hear that things aren't going too well. What sort of things have been happening?

Just my opinion but is it worth having lessons (or if you already have regular lessons - what does your instructor think?) to try to get to the bottom of the problem (bearing in mind I have no idea what the problem(s) are)! rather than getting someone else to ride your horse for you?

Or try someone different for lessons - sometimes someone new will have a different perspective.

I sometimes think that two different riders can make any problems worse.

Hi, well we've not had a good few weeks, resulting in me coming of most weeks lol..but actually its not her being terribly naughty and all things I can deal with but TBH I dont think my hearts in it at the moment I can't be bothered to deal with it...

Thats why I thought maybe have a sharer/rider for a while and that way I still have my lovely horse but I can have a break from it also

Yes I have lessons but not in the past month or soo....

Maybe you just need a break from it until you feel better about things?

We lost our horse unexpectedley nearly 6 weeks ago and I lost all motivation and enthusiasm and didn't ride my other horse for 5 weeks. She was getting turned out daily so was happy enough with that. I've started doing things with her again now but that's because I want to rather than feel I have to.

I do think everyone's motivation drops a bit in the winter and sometimes rather than make yourself carry on, it doesn't hurt to have a break for a while then pick up again when your heart's a bit more in it.

What kind of thing do you do with your horse? I have a friend who rides Louis for me once a wk and she is a fantastic fantastic rider. She competes dressage/SJ and does some eventing too. She lives in the Kent area. What kind (if any) payment are u asking?

Just starting dressage but mainly SJ...doing BN but she is much more capable of doing more

Its the horsey in my signature....urm it would be negoiable (sp?) just something towards her costs etc. Monthly normal out goings for her would be about £250 so depending how often she wanted to ride etc, prob looking at £100?? Don't really know...

do you have a bigger piccy? A link that I can send to her so that she could have a look. I haven't asked her yet but she's a very talented rider and would love something to compete. Thanks K x

This is her training at my instructors...

Where abouts in Kent is she? Do you think she would ride quite often? Neddy is affiliated and any competing they wish to do would be at own cost
