what did you thnk?
I know its the first year for this event, but I must say...I was a bit disapointed.
I guess I was expecting a bit like Your Horse live, but it didnt live up to that! Just one hall with stands in, only a couple of tack shops, and then the arena with dressage, xc an showjumping.
Didnt find anything I was shopping for, so came away, like I said, a bit disappointed.

I was wondering what people thought of it. I was looking at the schedule today and think I'd of gone on the friday, mainly for the Funnels demo :-)

You can't beat YHL in my opinion xx

As all above!
On the plus side love the venue. It's only just over an hours easy drive for me with close, safe parking. Venue lovely and warm ( those cattle sheds at YHL can be drafty), loads of warm places to eat and NO queuing ( due to lack of people so prob won't run again). Liked the idea of gaps in main ring which allowed for shopping.
On the down side not many shops to choose from, like others went with a long list but didn't find what I was after.
Very expensive!
Would have loved to have stayed for evening performance but just couldn't afford day ticket and evening performance.
If it runs next year and falls on a day off I'd prob go but if like this year I need to book holiday to go I won't bother.

I went. Was slightly disappointed that parelli seemed to be the main event and that the shopping there was poor. Not a patch on YHL, however I do appreciate that it's the first year so would take a fair bit to build up the reputation and therefore many of the bigger shops might not chance it.

I also felt it was really small, I think I wandered around the shopping village about 10 times in between the shows! Was disappointed by the shopping too, I had a list of things to buy and went home with one pair of breeches. Never been to Your Horse Live, but given I chose Horse World Live over YHL as it was closer to me, I'm planning on going to YHL next year.

I went on Friday and enjoyed watching the Funnells and William Fox-Pitt. The number of shops was a bit disappointing but I still managed to buy a new jacket, an unusual browband and an equi-ami training system all at reduced prices so came away pretty happy. Was also wishing I could win the lottery so I could get one of the Alexander horseboxes that were there, lol. Parking was great although rather expensive but then it is in London and it was only half an hour drive for me to get there. Would definitely go again as it is really handy for me so hope they run it again next year.

Where was it? We were in London this weekend & I was sure it was on there somewhere but we couldn't find any information & OH was prepared to go.

I was disappointed with the shopping, had a list but only got two things from it. Saying that though the arena was good the venue was easy to get to and I would imagine being the first year will take a while to build up. If it runs next year then I would go again.

Very disappointed. The tickets were expensive especially if you went for the full day access to the arena ones. The shopping was poor. Either ridiculously expensive or cheap tat! But I did enjoy the western meets dressage & Horseworld riders demos.

They say it'll be on again next year & will be bigger & better. It would need to be double the size with cheaper tickets for me to consider it again!

I went with my 9 year old daughter. There weren't all that many shops but enough to keep us busy. The world leisure stand was fantastica, tons of cheap hoodies and tops from all the left overs from events over the past few years. Got Daughter 3 hoodies, 3 tshirts, a rugby shirt, 2 mugs and a BE baseball cap all for £19 and lovely lady threw in the gorgeous HOYS gillet she liked for free! So she now has plenty of yard clothes for the winter. And also got myself a nice new yard jacket for £15.

Liked the area where you could watch clipping, trimming, bandaging etc. Also the riding simulators were good fun and daughter loved having a go and getting her rosette and certificate all for free. We met the Funnells, Laura B, Anna Ross-Davis and William FP and she got her picture taken and autographs so she was a happy girl.

Demo wise, the Funnell factor was excellent and enjoyed the mounted fashion show. The Tanya Larrigan mini marvels thing was disapointing, my daughter was really looking forward to watching it but we found Tanya very shouty and a bit rude, she wasn't very pleasant to the ladies working with her showing the ponies off and was quite off hand with William Funnell when he came out to present one of the ponies with a retirement present as it was his last show. She didn't come across well at all. And the ponies didn't riverdance they walked round in circles with the riverdance music playing lol!! They were cure though.

Super easy to get to by train and tube and the food was good at the outlets in the excel (but v pricey £13 for 2 jacket potatoes?!?) It was a great venue and I really hope they run it next year will definitely take a trip up there again.

Even though they are located miles away from each other, I thought the timing of this event was really poor, being only a week after YHL, a week before Olympia AND a week closer to Christmas. Whilst I appreciate that a lot of the people doing the demo's are busy competing during the summer months, perhaps they'd do better having HWL in the spring, to space it out from YHL.....

We went to both YHL and this - and we have been known to schlep down to Essex for the SE equine show which is next week. We definitely have tickets for Olympia as it is the family Xmas present.

Sadly about the only good thing about horseworld live was that it might possibly have contributed to keeping the crowds down at YHL - although the lack of BOGOF tickets probably helped there too.

The demos were good - but all the stands were empty. Thankfully I was on freebie tickets - but I would have been seriously miffed to have spent the £60 per VIP ticket to sit in lonley isolation at the sides.

The people who attended were very enthusiastic which was nice - but it can't be much fun trying to put on a convincing demo to stands less than 1/6 full. The fact that the shopping was so narrow did sort of help in that we were able to spend over an hour on the WOW saddle stand trying out all the saddles on thier simulator and we might actually buy one. But other than that - dissapointing.

It does take a while to get a new show off the ground - but I wonder if the organisers are going to have the capital to keep financing this. Certainly I would not pay for tickets for next year - even if they moved to another time of year.

I won tickets for the Friday, found it very disappointing, small shopping area and fell asleep watching the parcelling demo. If I had paid for the tickets I would have probably been a bit annoyed. Very expensive in comparison to YHL

I actually really enjoyed it. Mum and I went on the Saturday and loved the Express Eventing - I have recently started Parelli and loved the Parelli talks and demo's, but appreciate it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Shopping wise, it was small but found everything I needed - pair of reduced country/yard boots, parelli equipment and a new headcollar.

I was also able to have a really indepth chat to the Simple Systems staff as I already feed some of their products and got a months trial of a balancer and more sugar free treats.

I would definitely go again next year :)
