Anyone go to Malvern Sales??

We were all set to go but a family crisis stopped us going.
Did anyone else go?? Were the 2yr olds making a lot of money?

Yes, I went and my friend ended up buying a lovely yearling. I sat through the sale of nearly 180 horses and boy was my bum sore!
Depends what you call alot of money to be honest. The 2 yrs old geldings were fetching on average £2K, one I bidded on got to £3K but wasnt sold as it didnt meet its reserve. The fillies (2yrs) made slightly less but then people werent holding out for their reserve so more sold, top price 2yr filly went for £3600. Some of the coloureds went for a bit more, a yearling coloured went for £4100
