Hi,

Random thought:

Just wondering if Plumpton was closed at all for the snowy weather? I found a website that says it is never closes due to having students /staff living on site but presumably it still closes to students when the snow sets in?

Just wondering!

Thanks guys

I do!
It doesn't close as such. Basically live in students and staff and any students can get there do their best with a bad situation. I think only the basics get done though.

Thanks Troylimbo,

I've never been there but I assumed it to be at the foot of the Downs and snowed in when it was bad in January. Also, do you know what a Study Week is? (also came up on their site)

It is literally at the foot of the Downs. At the bottom of a very very steep hill! I didn't go in in January as I couldn't even get out of my road, and my lecturer couldn't get in either! My friend is Yard Manager and lives near me (about 12 miles away from college) and she made it in with a 4x4.
I have no idea what a study week is, sorry. I'm only part time (one day a week)

Many thanks
