Anyone going to the Area 46 BSJA show 20-22 July?

As above really! I went last year, was my first ever BSJA on my horse and my first ever overnighter. Bit of a baptism of fire haha! If so what are you doing? Jumping? Watching? Some pretty good later classes to watch and its free..

Yep, we're going all 3 days again this year.

Went last year and had a complete nightmare of a show. Such high expectations of success as we'd been doing well in the weeks leading up to it......only to get eliminated in 4 out of 6 classes

Turned out he had a virus...but we didn't find that out until several weeks (and more problems) later

Anyway, this year i'm hoping for better...although an alarmingly similar pattern is developing as we'd been doing really well through April and May, only for things to start going disastrously wrong in June. I'm off to my new trainer for some emergency 'surgery' on saturday in the hope of averting a crisis

Currently entered for various things from a 1m Amateur to the 1.20m Intermediate Championship (i did my entries several weeks ago lol!) with Bo but we'll have to see how things go. Trike is doing two BN's and the 1m Novice Championship.

It was great fun last year....despite the amazing thunder storms and flash floods....doesn't look like it's going to be much different this year though

We were going but my 2 have had a few days off with back issues so we're going to Royal Leisure on the Tuesday instead (jumping out the field twice - fab idea!)

Rambo that storm last year was unlike anything Ive ever seen! One minute I was walking a course in the heat, the next I was frantically shovelling shavings so my horses' box didnt flood! I had a really good confidence boosting training session on Monday, and Ive got another group lesson tomo so hoping we can ping around the weekend after!

Change of plan, RL not running on 24th so we will be joining you at the area 46 show!! I'm doing 1.10 open and OH and YO are doing the 1m amateur on Sunday.
