Anyone good on Freezemarks

My mares freezemark is high on her neck under her mane and she is stamped DK10089, anyone know which country she would have come from an whether that is a mark of a certain breed??

My horse Joe was a Swedish trotter , I traced his brand and got his breeding and his racing chart and all the info that i wanted about him with his brand! Bless him,sadly after 14 years he was pts in August.

I am thinking she is probably from Denmark and Joeb21 your horse was lovely, he had a beautifully kind eye and looks very much like my mare who interestingly is a trotter !!! Sorry for your loss.

How did you manage to trace Joe's brand, breeding and race history??

It took me a few years , well just over 10 years on and off!
I emailed all the trotting harness associations , a lot of them did not reply over the years of trying, then one night i thought i would give it one more go and a lady from standardbred Canada said she would check it out with her contacts of the trotting
associations and will get back to me! .Within 24 hours i got an email saying " His name is Dirigent Orio"
He is originally from Sweden, was exported to Denmark and ended
up with you in England. My email was answered by an Director at
STAGBI (The Standardbred and Trotting Horse Association of Great Britain
and Ireland)
