Anyone got a new Ifor 511 and have no problems?

I'm expecting delivery of my new trailer (which I'm very excited about) in a couple of weeks. There are plenty of people moaning about mould etc.

We like the space and the tackbox on wheels.

Here is our list. Mould which we fixed ourselves as we are in France.

Height of tie rings which I can hardly reach and I am 5'6'. Ok we bought for a 17.2hh horse but difficult to use.

Third occasion we used it, mare pulled back as I tied her up and pulled tie ring out of chassis took weeks to get special repair kit from UK - must have happened before.

An excited horse managed to lift the front bar off while tied up, even tough the bar was correctly locked. This bent the bar.

If you want to remove the central partition to ship mare and foal note that the instructions are not correct - it took us most of a morning to get it out.
 
Well I hardly dare say yes as I have heard so many horror stories!! I have had mine for 6 months so maybe the problems are with earlier models.... Fingers crossed! I was talking to someone on Sunday who has had theirs recalled for mould but it is the year older than mine. Mine has not been recalled yet.
What colour did you go for? They do seem big and roomy and my big horse seems very happy to travel in it

Love ours. So much better than our 510, really pleased. No issues at all yet, and the horses load and travel like a dream.
 
Phew..... I went for black DarkHorseB as my car is black, I do wish they still did black and silver tho, like the 510's were.... I'm hoping it was the older models that had the problems..... my hubby says I just will have to clean it alot! Great! As if there isn't enough to clean already, lol !
 
I got a new one about 4 weeks ago. Apparently the mould problems are with the slightly older ones. Mine is fine although i had sliding windows and they were leaking slightly so i had to take it back but it was nothing major. I love it!
