I'm currently using Thuja for my mare's sarcoids which, fingers crossed, seems to be working. In the course of looking up thuja I have spotted several other remedies I would be interested in trying, there is one meant for bones which can help with splints etc, and one for tired muscles to aid recovery after exercise? sorry I can't remember the names but was wondering if anyone has experience of using any other homeopathic remedies, which ones they've tried and what the results were?

i have used is vitamin E which works like magic on my horse's cuts. arnica as well on bruises. also alo vera for tail rubbing. i have no idea if that is "proper" homeopathy

have used proper stuff before but a reki woman made up a mixture for me as my old pony had an allergic reaction to something. worked great as got rid of the itch, but turned out he had a virus

we use aspen from time to time on the youngsters that go out hacking for the first time though!

please could you tell me where you got your thuja from? I would like to try it on a small sarcoid but not sure where to get it and what strength?! many thanks

I have used Tim Couzens in Sussex, who is a holistic vet, and some of his remedies have been scarily effective. I know there is a lot of doubt expressed when homeopathy is used by us humans - but a horse doesn't know a little white pill is supposed to help with a problem does it?
Crossgates Farm are very good as well, they recommended thuja cream and echinacea drops for my mare, and the sarcoid on her tummy eventually fell off (it took about 7/8 weeks). Strange thing is, sometimes it grows back a bit, then drops off again without any cream or help. I'm told this is because of the way homeopathy works internally... ?

We have used arnica, Apis and hypericum on kicks and swellings, worked a treat. A woman in our RC recomeded the stuff (her mother is a homeopath). We are intending to get some in to keep.

Hi there, I am new on here. I was just reading your post and would like to say I work in a shop where we sell Homeopathy, I have had a small amount of training in the ones we have in store, and have various books, as I use it regularily on my horse. If you have any questions, please ask, as if I dont know I can ask the suppliers or even speak to Ainsworth for you.
Please bear with me as I am still trying to get to grips with this site!!
