Anyone got the woofware gps for when you hack?

Spotted that when I was on the site, wonder how well/if it would work over here. Might give it a shot once I get my phone internet sorted, it looks like a good idea.

I'm finding the app a bit slow :(
hopefully they have an update to fix the bugs soon and maybe add in top speeds etc like the other tracker apps do.
I do like the idea of buying the upgrade so OH can track me when I'm out on my own.
For now it's pretty good for free.

i've got it, i thought i'd try it on my way up to the yard to see if it worked in areas with little or no signal. it did. however it didn't follow the road as such, it was more as the bird flies kind of way so not sure how it will work when riding but yet to try that! :D

I've downloaded the app, but not actually used it yet hacking but it seems to have some good features...

I've used MapMyRide for a while, and whilst it isn't designed for horse riding, it works pretty well for hacking, and does give a top speed when you have it running. When you've saved the 'workout' it only gives average speed though. I wanted to try another as it quite often doesn't save properly and you lose the whole workout...

Installed it on both me and partners phones. The 'live tracking' sounds like an interesting feature. Will be a neat app to play with!

I use Endomondo it tracks your ride and works out your average speed over each kilometre and calories burn plus your fastest and slowest laps. It also says things like 1Km in 11minutes which is disturbing the first time it happens. It has a setting specifically for horse-riding. I notice it tracks more accurately if not if my iphone is not in the sleep mode but uses the battery up a lot quicker.

I use Everytrail, can add photos, see speeds in mph or kmph, elevations, and has four different settings as to how you can view the finished result.
I will take a look at Endomo, sorry, cant help with the Woofware one!
