Anyone had a Discectomy and have horses?

As above. I have been told that part of the disc in my spine needs to be removed to stop the sciatica - anyone had this done? What was the recovery time? How did you cope with having horses? I have 3 that come in 365 days a year. Not sure what to do with them and how long I will need help?

Ouch! Very painful!

The recovery time depends upon your fitness beforehand. Friend had this done and had a groom service do her neds for 8 weeks and then took them back over.

She was under bupa though so lots of physio straight away.
