Anyone had a horse with a lung infection?

And if so, how long to see improvement? And how long till better? I am of course worrying. Vet is less worried as he seems brighter. His breathing rate initially reduced slightly but now back up to concerning rate. He has had 6 days abx so far along with bronco dilators. This can be stopped when finished in 3 days (he had them for a week before abx). And to add another bottle of abx so another 2 weeks. Vet saying lung infections do take a while to clear but I am impatient!

He is keen to be out but I think being out is making him more tired. But he won’t stay in on his own.
