anyone had a Maudsley horsebox

Thinking of looking at a Maudsley horsebox, they are a long way from home! so wondering if anyone has had any experience of the company. are they well built etc etc

I've always had the impression that they are well built from the ones I have seen at shows. Not a lot of help really but they are a make I would investigate.

Hi Yes I've had one - I think there are two Maudsley horsebox companies - the brothers split the business and went their own ways - so there is Graham and Andrew - I thing mine was an Andrew Maudsley one - it was great - well built - very helpful company etc - I think the brother's company has a good reputation as well - so you can't go far wrong as long as it's been looed after by current owner!

Ditto what Cyclops says, there are two brothers Andrew & Graham, they used to be together and then they split, one is in Darwen (Graham) and the other has just moved to Chorley (Andrew)
One of our liveries has a Maudsley box on our yard which I have used occasionally and i like it, well built and good quality
Andrew has done the work on ours for the last 8 ish years if it's needed any and I have always found him to be excellent and the work good quality, hope that helps
