got the vet coming on thursday to xray horses knee, never been this unlucky before just wondered what your vets would charge?

I had an x-ray a couple of weeks ago at the veterinary practice and the total was almost £150, plus since I don't have transport, £40 to get her there. The x-ray is covered by insurance. I don't know how much mobile x-rays are.

If the X ray is covered by the insurrance, chances are your transport is too - so long as you used a registered transporter or are claiming for your own diesal

Had 4 feegt x-rayed a few weeks ago and it cost 120 for the xrays - total bill was about 600 and still don't know what the problem was!

Mine charges £110 to travel to me with his digital machine and then £18 a picture, you see them immediately so only take as many as needed.
