Anyone had better luck with fresh after 2 failed frozen AI attempts?

We have had no success with 2 attempts using frozen semen; the team doing the AI are great, experts in their field, but it just didn't take.
My mare has had all the necessary fertility tests, she has previously had a foal and is only 6 years old.
We are thinking of using another stallion with good reported fertility and a live foal guarentee.
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced similar disappointment with frozen and then gone on to have success with fresh?
 
We are about to try again with fresh this time; would love to hear from people who had more luck with fresh than frozen: it would help ease the nerves!
 
I feel like breeding is a complete lottery at times 🫠 have had a mare be at perfect point in her cycle, good quality fresh semen, top repro vet… nothing. Then another mare who was late being inseminated, frozen semen used, quality was terrible …. In foal first time 🤣 it’s a nightmare 🙈 pray to the repro gods and hope for the best!!
 
The frozen semen used turned out to be off debatable quality, hence the stallion switch. I'm definitely hoping the reproduction gods take pity on us this time!
 
Yes, I did 2 rounds of (good quality) frozen, mare cycled perfectly and nothing.

Swapped to fresh and she got in foal on first cycle!
 
I am really hoping we have the same experience. Mine took first time with fresh previously but the bad experience with frozen has made me anxious. Thank you for sharing 🥰
 
A little update in case anyone reading this has had similar experiences this season: we tried twice, unsuccessfully with frozen, switched to fresh and she caught first time.
