I have a close contact/ show jump tekna saddle with the adjustable gullet. Has anyone had an issue with the locking pins that hold the plate in? I had the saddler out to check the fit of that and my bates to my new horse and when he was changing the gullet the pins snapped. ( they are based on a bayonet light bulb fitting) I had a spare set as the saddle was originally bought for another horse and needed a narrower gullet in it which I changed myself and had the same problem.
The saddle has only been tried on once and then previous horse went back as it was a loony.
The bits on the side that stick out snap off the minute you try and turn the plug to lock it in position. Ive tried ringing westgate to see if its the pins that are faulty or my saddle but they are on their xmas holidays til jan.
