Wondering whether to stick Sam on there but it seems expensive compared with what other sites charge for similar or more.

Anyone had much success using it?

Hm. Have sold any of mine through Horsemart... never used HH because it is expensive (but then, I didn't have an expensive horse to sell!)

I think you should just give him to me!

I know, he's not an expensive horse so I don't want to fork out a fortune on advertising. H&H is twice as expensive as Horsemart and Horse Deals to advertise online and you only get a few lines...

I last week placed an ad on H&H online only, and adhorse, and horsemart. So far I have had responses ( although not many!) from H&H and Adhorse. I guess a lot of people have gone away for the easter weekend - so I maybe woudn't advise placing it until mid next week.

I think that the horsequest and horsemart route works best!Al I would only use horse and hound as a very last resort now...

Adhorse? Not heard of that one, what is the link?

See, I was thinking the other way- if people are off for Easter they might be horse hunting? Fingers crossed you are right though and that is why my ohine is not red hot LOL!

Just had a look at horsequest and it is £35... do you think it is worth the money?

Think I tend to associate horsequest more with comp horses whereas Sam is more Riding/Pony Club sort.

Yes I definately think that horsequest is worth the money, its the most popular site for every type of horse not just the comp horses. Actually I heard that the riding club allrounders section gets the most viewers...
Also the £35 is for 3 months advertising which is quite a good deal I think!

When generally looking at horses for sale, i always go to Horsemart then Horsequest i never look at H&H,
When we sold our pony in January, she went through Horsemart.

Agreed Horse and Hound is expensive - we advertise our lorries on there and get a low response rate - and its bloomin expensive too- this week they also managed to mess up totally on my ad - thanks H&H !!

Horsequest, Horsedeals are really good and inexpensive too, Horsedeals has a great website and OK is Horsetrader online

I'm in exactly the same boat as you! I can't say the response rate is great from horsemart but think horsequest is suppst to be better we are splashing out for horsequest now!

i highly rate horsemart as i sold 2 horses very quickly advertising on there. good luck with selling your horse!
