Anyone Have a Samoyed?

Out of interest really
In the future me and OH are hoping to get one. Have done loads of research etc and am experienced with gundogs, but never had a breed like this. Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience and piccies!

I've had 3 in my lifeime. I love the breed. Would have another one in a minute. Sorry not scanned any photos in.

Be prepared for daily grooming and never being able to wear black again!

Thank you CracklinRosie. I currently have a hairy golden retriever atm which i groom and trim atm. So am used to not being able to wear black! Especially as he loves leaning on your nice smart black work trousers!

Well you're half way there already!

They are a joy to be around, they're not called the smiling dog for nothing.

The need a strong pack leader or they will walk all over you.

They can run in harness like malamutes and siberians, they are great little dogs and have loved all the ones i have met, would happily have one myself have heard they can be yappy though

Ours were never yappy. They could be vocal but only when calling the pack together.

having mals and sibes yappy would fit in nicely here lol lol i dont do barking lol lol lol

I have sammies - 2 at the moment but have had 5 in one go before.
Used to show them/breed and have done crufts etc.
Want to try working them this year - eeekkkk!
Love them especially the dogs, the bitches can be so sneaky, the dogs are just stupid!
