Well my boy is going away on Saturday and I hope to look for someone else while he is away.

Ideally I would love to find someone with a lovely 16.1 Gelding that needs to rehome him for 12 months at a secure professional yard and that would like him to do a few dressage tests, jump a bit and small cross-country while thay sort their life out or have their baby perhaps?

Alternativly I would want a perfect partner for life as I hope to loan my old horse out (ooh I hope he's not reading this) if he comes sound (I did have a queue).

So If I decide to take the plunge and advertise would I get contacted by everyone who has a shed load of trouble to shift.

Yes, you will!
But use a temporary email address if possible, be firm about what you want and be prepared to giggle at the totally unsuitable stuff that comes through!
Keep the Wanted ad short and clear so the people you want will reply - you won't stop the others anyway...

I agree with vhf, I had a LOT of emails about horses which were totally unsuitable. Definately make a seperate email account!
