A friend of a friend is having to rehome their dog, a 1 year old JRT. Apparently housetrained, lead trained, dog and child friendly (oh aren't they all when you are trying to foist them onto someone else?)

Before this dog makes it to the pound and the needle, I would like to give it a chanced of a happy home - so does anyone here feel they have space in their home and hearts for a little JRT?

The dog is in Wales (much more details to follow when I am given them) I will of course, be happy to help organise logistics for the little one to get wherever his new home may be.

Thanks everyone

Yes, I can vouch for JRT's wholly and say that mine are my whole life, they are happy, bright little beggars who are a joy to be around. I'm sure this little lad will be the same in the right hands.

Lets hope someone here has a small hole needing filling

ETA* he is a short legged, smooth coated entire male*

If this doens't work out your friend could try the Dogs Trust as they take in unwanted (well not unwanted but you know what I mean) pets and they won't PTS if they are healthy.

Henry is a Dogs Trust special, he was a pet that just ended up needing rehoming.

Got really excited when i saw this post, would love another JRT as we lost ours back in April

Hi Scranny, as I have suggested I would help with transport if you were truly interested. Its still early days in the dogs search so I do not have pictures etc to show you but if you decided you did want him I could perhaps even meet you half way with him.
