Anyone here prepping TB yearlings for Oct sales?

Not anymore - no longer agile enough to work with the babies - it's very satisfying working with the yearlings knowing that the work you do with them sets them up for life.

How many do you have to do - are you working for a stud or private?
 
Working on a small family stud, and have 7 to prep/sell at the sales. A further 5 we will get prepped to go staight into training. Another colt has a ? over what to do with him!! He is too big and gangly for the sales, so may (or may not) hold out til the next May sales, or geld him.... Glad its not down to me!
Busy all round really, and glad the stud isn't any bigger!
