Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone here currently hunts with the Beaufort...I've been out with them a few times before, once mounted and twice on foot but I have just moved my horse to 'the correct side of the motorway' and have emailed the secretary to send me details of meets etc.
Just wondered if anyone else goes out with them?!?

Yes I hear they are VERY expensive as well...when I went out mounted I was grooming for someone who paid my cap so never actually found out how much it was! lol!

My problem is that i have no transport anymore...so was hoping that I could maybe hack to a few meets in the local area. Unless someone is passing with room ofr a 16hh cob?!?!?! lol!!! Worth a try.....:D

Well I have emailed the secretary who has given me and idea of the cap and informed me that the meets are listed on the website.

Just wondered what people thought of the days out with the beaufort...kept myself to myself when I was out with them in that past and just said thank you before peeling off to go home!

I hunt with the beaufort usually on Saturdays (when work allows!) - am very lucky as living on a 'beaufort' farm get to hunt for free! Its good hunting country , plenty of jumping . The only downside is the amount of people out on saturdays - there are loads-and some of the riding is seriously dodgy!
