Anyone hunting on/near Wenlock Edge today?

I have no idea quite how but some poor sod has managed to bail out and leave behind both sets of stirrups and leathers on the track halfway along Wenlock Edge - if they want them back, I've left them on the signpost at the end of the bridleway (bottom of the track from the Presthope National Trust car park on Hughley bank).

No idea if it's Wheatland or South Shrops, sorry, I haven't been out this year and don't have a meet card.

Whoever you are, I hope you are in one piece, they were a good 100 metres apart!

Would have been the Wheatland - they were near Wenlock Edge today. Will let the Hunt Secretary know.

I have an update! It was a lady rider who hires from a friend of mine. She was hacking to the Meet, got off to do a gate and the horse headed for home without her! By the time it got home, saddle was under its belly and the stirrups were missing! Whoops!

PMSL! I am very glad she wasn't on board, I was imagining the ways in which you could come a cropper and somehow lose both stirrups and concluded that it would have been very painful by any route.

If she needs further instructions for retrieving her stirrups, just let me know!
