Anyone in Carnforth area?

We live up near Kirkby Lonsdale but have kept our horses nearer to where we used to live for many years rather than disrupt them. We are bringing them up to a yard close to J35 M6 (Carnforth). Just wondered what events and activities there are up here, or whether it is a case of still travelling down to the Preston area for competition and events.

Have you tried the local riding clubs, Lakes and Morecambe Bay? They`re good starting places though I imagine you know about them already being in KL. As Grumpyfell said, NLBS is a good, friendly and informative group - I`d forgotten the rat man was coming tonight!

I used to keep my pony on a yard near to Jn 35 M6! Might be the same one! Hope all goes well with the move!
