I'm hopefully going to sign for a house there tomorrow, it will be for 6 months - OH probably getting a job in Manchester after that!

Anyway, I went to look at a 10month old colt today, and I want to take him

except I need to find somewhere to keep him quick! He will be gelded asap, so hopefully that won't be a problem to anyone. I'm going to try and do it this week, before I pick him up. So if anyone has any ideas, they would be much appreciated!!!

Pics to follow shortly!

I live not too far from Frodsham but unfortunatley don't know the area that well. However, this area has more horses than people so I'm sure you will find somewhere suitable without too much trouble. Not terribly helpful I know butmaybe try the local free papers or Farmers Guardian for yards. Good luck with new horse and new home!

Not really, wrong part of Cheshire for me, but I think the feed shop 'Gibsons' is in Frodsham. They'll know of some yards in the area. I've probably got their phone number lying around somewhere! I can look and PM it to you if you like.

Ahh, thanks, that's the one place I vaugley know of - not been yet though. I'm hoping to drop in tomorrow on my way to look at the house. I'm just keeping everything crossed that they know of somewhere.

Me !! But i Stable in Runcorn as its cheeper. Their is a great yard in Delemere forest, turn into Delemere car park and at the bottom turn right and their is a great yard at the bottom. Also on the main delemere road their are a few yards, to be honest Frodsham is a big place..and their are a lot of cheeper yards going towards chester..or towards Runcorn.

Also look on http://www.saddleupcheshire.co.uk

hope this helps

Thanks nokia, I wouldn't mind Runcorn - my guess was I'd have more chance of grazing round that way. As I work in Liverpool it would be on my way in really. PM me if you know of anything available? Thanks! I'll have a look around delamere way too.
