Following my previous post I have decided to start looking for a new yard and was wondering if anyone knew of one in the Loughborough or surronding villages so Barrow, Sileby, Another yard in Quorn perhaps?
Would prefer just grass livery, with not necessarily a school but would like a quiet corner of a field to ride in if it does not have a school and with good hacking.
i've tried Brooksby and Markfield and i can't afford that. I've also tried a yard in Woodhouse Eaves i think it was called Highfields Farm but that was out of my price range as well.
Also, ebing a student at Brooksby, Don't think my neddy would like it...too busy for him, plus can't live out.
Any Ideas Anyone?

have a look at charnwood tails website, there's sometimes yards on there. If you google charwood tails you'll find it

I'm not sure what you're looking for and what different places have to offer, but have you tried Park View (I think they're in Anstey) which has great hacking through Bradgate Park and Swithland Woods. There also seems to be a yard just outside of Stamford which I know nothing about but it looks nice when I drive past on the way to work every morning!

We are at a yard just through Loughborough at a place called Normanton-on-soar , bit far away from Brooksby though

, theres loads of livery yards round your way , Rearsby is dead near , can you not keep him at Brooksby ?

The yard is about two mins from Stanford , its got a big sand school , jumping paddock and a cross country course (just down the road), wev'e been there for two years and really like it , you can have your horse out in the summer but its in a big field down the road so Toto is stabled at night all year round , its £15.00 a week ( not including hay and straw ).
