Anyone in Rutland / Oakham area?

Hi guys,

Hopefully you can help me - we are going away for a few days next week and staying nr Rutland - I have found a riding centre in Oakham - I am looking for somewhere that will be able to accommodate my husband whos a beginner and only ridden the horses we have had for the odd stroll out. We would like to go for a hack together.

Any reccommendations?

Somerby Riding School prob. best place. About 4 miles from Oakham.

I used to go to Somerby and have lessons on a TBx called Seppie. She was lovely. There was a nice instructor there called Debbie. All this is years ago though so things may have changed but I know that Somerby cater for "holiday riders".

Grange Farm Criollos is worth looking at for something different. The hacking around there is lovely.
