I am trying to find approx cost of DIY (stable, grazing with p&r fencing, 60x20 school, good hacking, feeds & hay put in in the morning), and cost of good hay, straw and shavings at the moment.

NO yard names or recomendations wanted as its for someone who is considering moving to the area next year and she wants to compare costs as they are now to decide.
Thanks

I paid £20 per week for DIY in Barlow which is border of South Yorks. Barn style stabling, year round grazing, automatic water feeders, cheap haylage, large brand new floodlit school. Extra's such as turnout/feeding etc were £1.50 a time. Haylage was £20 a bale, straw was £1.50, shavings £4.20 if you had 10 or more.
Hope that helps.

Well its a lot cheaper than where I am that I do know!! I think its a reasonable difference to what she is paying as well.

Thanks a lot

I think you'll find a huge difference in anything horsey between north and south. Both livery costs and cost of buying a horse is cheaper up north than in the south.
