Anyone in South Hants!

If anyone keeps horses in South Hants, there has been a spate of tack thefts,heard last night from a friend, that a friend of hers had all tack, rugs, ect stripped from her yard early in the week ( Denmead area I think) Then this morning told that a yard 2 mins from ours had the same done last night, they even took wheel barrows and a lawnmower! (Hayling Island) Anyone in and around this area be extra vigilant!!

Have you contacted Hampshire Horsewatch? They will be able to relay this info to the local members. I'm not sure if the police do this anyway but it may be worth contacting the local rep.

Yes, we belong to RRS which is a registered riders scheme and the guy who runs it is involved with hampshire horse watch and is in touch with local police. Worryingly a transit van with 'gypo type' men in it drove up our drive and turned round and drove off this morning, we informed local police and RRS! Luckily someone is staying on-site for the summer!
