Anyone in the Household Cavalry? Researching old horse...

A bit of a random task, but chatting to mum last night she told me that my 29 yr old TB used to be in the Household Cavalry and was in the Trooping of the Colour. So, like you do, I sat wondering if there were any records of the horses used in the Cavalry etc, and how I'd go about finding out. As yet I haven't found any useful contact options on Google and have sat through miles of old footage in the vain hope of actually catching a glimpse of him! I know, they all look the same...!

So, does anyone know who I could go to in order to see if there are any archive records / photos of the horses used? i don't know anyone to ask in person. I've fire off several emails but no luck yet

As I've had so many lovely pms for people offering help, and from others saying they'd like to see my lovely 29 yr old JP, here's a couple of yard shots as I haven't got any of his 'previous busy life' stuff scanned in yet. He was always very leggy, and never a chunky chap, but 29 or not I still think he's looking for his age! Bless him I do adore him x Sorry they are SO big (but he deserves the coverage!)
