As the above really?

I took out the insurance 3 years ago for my dog via Animal Friends website not knowing that it was insured by E&L as they said that they were a non profit organisation and sent all monies to charities.

I have had 3-5 letters from both E&L directly and Animal Friends saying that I'm covered by one and not the other and vice versa and I am totally confused - all I want to know is whether I am covered and who with - not sure if I want to stay with E&L unknowingly again!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Have cat insured with them,I too unaware E & L,have spoken to them this morning.apparently E&L the underwriters ,but this is changing to Red Sands, have asked to be called back with clarification of this ,as if I wanted the hassle of E&L I,would have gone there in first place ,so if get further info will let you know

I took out insurance with e and l for my dog as direct line put monthly policy up to £30 month e and l are £17.I also have horse ins although they are slow to pay out I have had to claim nearly £6000 this last two years and they have honoured the policy. If your claims are honest and you follow them up with letters and constant phone calls they do pay out.

Eak diddnt know that!
Shocked E&L still have any customers TBH,their repution for horse insurance is so bad

I sorted out the cats this morning, went with pet plan.
They are not always the cheapest but the cats policy is £20 a month for the pair with first 2 months free, would rather use pet plan even if they are a bit more because I and family have never had a single issue when making a claim or with debit dates( an aunt was with M&S for a bit and not once did they debit on the right day leaving her with a lot of bank charges to pay
