Anyone know a good bitting expert who will travel (South East)?

The heading says it all really... Can anyone recommend a bitting expert in the South East - Kent/East Sussex/Surrey/possibly Essex? I would really like someone to come out to my yard so they can assess the horse. It might be impossible, but it would be great if they werent wedded to one particular make of bit. Any ideas gratefully received!

This is just not a practical proposition for any 'bitting expert' to travel any distance on the off chance of making a sale! How would you feel if the suggestion was a cheap bit, at, perhaps £15.00, and travelling expenses, plus time, £30.00?

contact belstane who market the myler bits, and they can put you in touch with someone who can go thru it all on the phone with you and make suggestions. very few folk will offer a visiting consultation these days as it gets too expensive once you add travel.

have you had the horse's teeth done by someone really good who takes 40 mins, not 15?! if so, then why not describe what the horse does on here, and we will all try to advise, and you can then try a few different things. tbh i'd rather try bits over a week or so than try lots at once anyway, i don't think you get a true reaction when you keep chopping and changing because a fitter is there. just a thought.
