I have a young pony who was only backed in may and needs bringing on, so i advertised for someone to ride him for free while he is still learning. I now has a young rider whose mum is present everytime and they understand that he is still green and has lots to learn and they are really willing. They have ridden him 3 times already and have got on very well and have now agreed to ride him 3/4 days a week with no contribution. The young rider is very confident and mum and daughter are both experienced.
But even tho they know all the risks i still want it to be on paper to cover myself if anything was to go wrong and the child falls off and injures herself. I know they could still try and sue me but having a contract is a bit of extra back up.
Is there any contract template i could use that basically says they ride at the own risk?
I would just feel alot better if i gave them a contract as at the moment its only words.
