Got my new youngsters passport this evening - its not got a lot of information there is no sire although the previous owner says they knew who sired him because she was shown him before while she liveried there and hes about 16'1 - his dam is called Wise Move, and was a black and white skewbald - he was born in Salsburgh, North Lanarkshire and he was born on 1/5/2011 - has him down as a Skewbald Cob Type - very non specific.

here he is - not sure how much cob is in there - hes 14'1 at the moment

I don't know the Salsburgh area very well but am told that they do breed cob types so wonder if anyone else knows of anyone who breeds cobs in that area - didn't want to question previous owner too much as shes quite upset at having to let him go and shes preggers too so didn't want to upset her

The wee yard up in Salsburgh that you hack past if you do the motorway bridge loop sometimes had youngsters in the field - mostly coloureds- might be worth contacting them?
