ok so hopefully my horse is coming up to Grade B !!! But there will be a cut off date that if he is still Grade C then we can still do the Winter Grade C
Anyone know Cut off date for Winter Grade C

Do you mean the final or can he still jump in qualifiers if he upgrades to Grade B AFTER a certain date ?
I'd have thought if you mean the former, he could jump the final regardless of what grade he is by the time he gets there...but if the latter, i thought you had to be in Grade C on the day of the qualifier...or even at the start of the qualifier itself

If he has already qualified for 2010 then he can do it whatever grade he is now.
To do the qualifiers horses must not have won more than £300 (or thereabouts).

The 2010 Winter Grade C has finished...the finals are at the Blue Chips. Qualifiers for next year haven't started yet
Also, the winnings limit for a Grade C is currently £1000...

I am talking about the Winter Grade C that i jumped last year and qualified for the british open !! they will start in October again and as long as he is Grade C when he qualifies then he is fine he can jump the final !!
But for the Summer Grade C you just have to be under £1000 as of 4th April and you can jump them the whole summer i thought this was the same as the winter ones but it isnt !!

I think your thinking of the winter novice we are way out of that and only have £180 left in Grade C !! lets hope he qualifies at one of the early dates for next years final even though it wont be at the british open

Yes, apologies, my mistake...the final was moved from the Blue Chips to the British Open last year...
Of course the last time i qualified for that one was back in the 80's and then the final was at Mill Lodge...anyone remember that far back lol! I even remember the qualifier at Blue Barn...came 2nd to Duncan Inglis

It's an amazing feeling qualifying for a class of that prestige...you must feel very proud of yourself for achieving that.
