I bought a pony today from the auction - and I am interested in getting in touch with the previous owner - not to harass but just to ask a few questions.

I would say things went for fair/good prices. It was packed. It also pi***d down with rain.
Mind you I only stayed by the ring until lot 24 - my lot - and then dragged myself away as I told myself to only get 1!!
I bought an iron grey 5 yo halter broken mare- who is quite sweet. I would love to contact the vendor so that I can just ask a little about the history of the mare

go on to www.nfed.co.uk some people in the forum know a lot, and you can trace parentage on www.newforestpony.co.uk i think it is... it might be .com!

Aren't the details in her passport? If there are, then you should be able to see who bred her/owned her previously, but, according to another post of NFED, there are youngsters out there being sold by their breeders with no details of sire and dam (!) so I wouldn't necessarily hold out too much hope of getting details from the vendor!
