Hi all, I typically don't like synthetic saddles however one is more within my price range compared to a leather changeable gullet saddle. Upon looking into it more I found an image of a really nice red-brown Wintec saddle. However below is the only image I can find of the colour otherwise it shows more tan, grey-brown wintec saddles. I've tried different Wintec web sites, looked at Wintec saddles online for sale, and still cannot find the same one. I did search what it said under the image but It did not help and the link was just to Pinterest. Really interested in getting the same colour saddle in a 17.5 seat but some help as to the model, colour or where to find one would be SUPER appreciated ? Thanks for taking the time to read this lol:)

I think because it's a Bates it's leather but I might be wrong, I think you can use the wintec changing gullet system in them hence why it's a Bates wintec, again not 100% sure on all this hopefully someone will know!

Yeah I just wasn't sure as it said the 'wintec' brand name on it, but I did try searching 'bates wintec' and nothing I was looking for came up, so not sure.

Yes, close contact Wintec jump saddle. I had one about 12 years ago but sold it on ebay. Wish I had kept it now.

It looks very like a Wintec John Whitaker jump saddle. I had one years ago but they dont come up very often now. I wish I'd never sold it as it seemed to fit everything

Photos can be deceptive and different companies call saddles different colours. https://www.batessaddles.com/collections/jump-saddles so Bates call it havana though their brown isn't far off either (most people's idea of havana is in fact dark havana). Australian nut is similar, there will be others. There is no one answer.
Ok thanks, yeah I have been trying to find one of these saddles but have come to the realisation that there is lots of colours and in sole photos it looks that nice red/brown, other it looks quite light tan. So starting to just give up and find another saddle. There is other brown wintecs but they look grey/brown in the sun. ? Not sure, but thanks for that:)
