Anyone know of a riding school with REAL, quality schoolmasters?

I have just had the most amazing week in Portugal, riding highly trained classical Lusos. Now, I have two horses of my own but they're not trained to this level (extremely well balanced and rhythmic, capable of passage, flying changes, extended trot). My horses are only 7, and although they're doing quite well they are nowhere near this league.

It has done my riding the world of good and so I'd like to take the odd lesson here on horses of the same standard. Thing is, where are they??

I'm not dis-respecting riding schools as they serve a very useful role, but in all honesty there are no schools in my area that have such quality horses (and yes - I can also see why that would be the case).

So, anyone know of anywhere that they woud recommend? I don't mind travelling as I could turn it into an overnighter every now and then, BUT the horses and the instruction are of real importance to me.

i remember someone mentioning something like this... cant rememeber where or the name (i'm helpful, o know ;) ) but someone should know.. i do believe it is VERY expensive though

I've booked two days in august at dovecote and am taking my boy with me - two schoolmaster lessons one each morning and two lessons on my own horse - one each afternoon. Really looking forward to it :)

http://www.lusitanocymru.co.uk/ has been recommended by a HHOer who competes to a decent level herself (I can't remember who it was though - maybe Sol?).

Were you at Hipikos by any chance? My RI and a friend were there last week and I was sooo jealous ;)
