I'm moving to Lee, SE London (near Blackheath) at the end of August and I need to find a lovely, friendly yard that's not too far away. At the moment I drive about 30 mins to my yard, so anywhere up to approx half an hour away would be great.
I don't know the area at all, as I'm coming from Hertfordshire, but I'm hoping someone on here does! I have two mares, both really relaxed and well-behaved, with both people and other horses.
I know, from more than twenty years of livery-searching and horse-ownership, that the best yards are often not the ones that have big, fancy websites
I'm still studying so price is important, but I would consider anywhere where there's great turnout and a relaxed atmosphere. I'm not a competitive rider, have trained with a horse whisperer and am very easy-going.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated!
