Anyone know of any Horsebox Repair specialists???

Hi all
I have a 1980 Ford D Series Horsebox in need of repair, For its age its not in bad condition but the ramp has rotten away.
Does anyone know of any reasonable horsebox repair companies or specialists in or near the Essex area???

I really want to get the ramp fixed but I am on a budget, I was thinking about replacing the ramp myself, but I wouldn’t know where to start and I really do not want to risk the safety of my horses so I want to get it done professionaly.

I am also looking to get it resprayed as it could do with a update.

Any help would be grateful

There is a horsebox repairer in Newmarket called I think Gazeley Horseboxes or something like that. Can't comment on their affordability but you could ask them for a quote. I should think they've got a website.

Im not to bothered about my budget because as long the job is done to a excellent standard then that’s all Im interested in, instead of paying loads of money and getting doog job done.

twilightstar, sorry but can you do something about the size of the photo in your "siggie" please. It's nearly twice as wide and twice as high as my screen and it's making me do any awful lot of scrolling on any thread you have posted on.

another vote for gazeley, they have just done some work on my lorry and they were very helpful and quick. very easy to get to just off the A14.

I just gave gazeley a call and i mast say they where very helpful and gave me the time of day! unlike some companys.

Gazeley did alot of work on a lorry of ours last year can reccomend 100%. David worked for Oakley for years they know there stuff.

He knows his stuff! Was oakleys manager for 30 odd years can't get better than that now can you

Had new ramp last year-absolutely brilliant and seriously would not use any other horsebox repair company
