Probably start looking for a 4/5 year old cob over the winter once Ty and Oscar have been rehomed. Realise that I don't quite think I could be without a horse but the trick is to find something that is exactly what I want (ie not just falling for good looks).

Prefer Oscar to go to a competitive home as that's where is skills lie and due to my job being full on, I really need something that if I have to leave for a week from time to time it's not going to a) kill me or b) give a stuff!

Would have to be 15 - 15.2 and don't mind a few quirks....what would you expect to pay for a nice cob with the potential to jump/hunt and show at local level? On the flipside I'd also look at a been there/done it older type.

PS - I know it's odd but I don't want a piebald but like skewbalds....how random

You're not odd - I don't really like piebald, either but I love, love, LOVE skewbald!

When I was looking for a cob, some people on here PM'd me about ones they were thinking of selling. I don't know how much you would expect to pay, but I'd hazard about 3k for one that has oodles of potential, well put together and a good stamp.

I apologise if I've got the wrong person but I thought I remembered you saying that you didn't like cobs and would only consider "pretty" horses? Maybe I'm getting you mixed up with someone else?

We have three for sale at the moment.

one roan with a white patch, one chestnut with four white stockings and a pretty light bay with a big white blaze. They are all between 5 and 6 years old, green but honest, all about 15hh to 15.2hh. One has done a little more than the other two. I think my boss wants between £2500 and £3000 for each of them.
