ok next summer (i know, planning in advance!!) me and a friend are riding from her house (glocestershire) to white sands, St. Davids in wales (pembrokshire). Its 180 miles and were planning on going through the brecon beacons and that way. Obviously we want somewhere to sleep/put horses...
do you know of any horse friendly B&Bs/farms? were meeting our families down there and they're going to be slightly infront of us, so if we need them we can call them up.
also any farriers and vets along that way would be useful, jsut so we have their numbers in case!
and anything else you can think of we might need to know would be good....and anywhere we should avoid?

ok thanks

there is a reason as to why were doing this!!

Try this website: http://www.ridingwales.com I think they have a list of horsey B&B. The BHS also do a book of horsey B&B places, it covers the whole UK but there's a Welsh section.

The other option is to contact some local riding clubs and see if any members can put you up. I'm in south east Wales so not on your route, but there are plenty of clubs that cover your route. The British Riding Clubs website would have a list and most have websites. They would have details of vets and farriers en route as well.
