Anyone know the average cost of..?

bloods? I'm thinking of looking into getting some blood tests done on my mare. Purely because have been down all the other roots such as tack, back, teeth, diet etc. So I was just wondering if anyone knew how much I should be expecting to pay? Obviously different practises will vary and area etc can make a difference. Will ring and ask in the week but just thought I'd ask now.

Paid about £75 recently for a diagnostic FBC blood test and then a further £80 for a more specific one to test for hormones....which came back as normal. Guess that is 'down-south' prices!

Do I get 2 flakes?

p.s. that was just the cost of the test, not call out, travel time, vet time etc etc.....Suggest you ask for the total cost!

Can I say 'I haven't a clue' but the small animal vet charged £35 for a MOT for the dog when we got him?
Does that earn me a 99? I am SO HOT I could really do with one.

And yes I knew that would be excluding other bits but our vets have this special offer when if you book on your areas day of the week they make callout etc cheeper. Which is nice of them considering how expensive it always seems to be

My local vets do a MOT which includes teeth, worm count and bloods for £70+ vat but not sure what they look for in the bloods- call out extra.

i once went to get a 99 with a flake but didnt have the £1.50! RIPPP

I just got an ice cream with a dribble of cheap raspberry sauce-they took out the flake
